Lyon County had its third straight double-digit day for new coronavirus cases Wednesday.
Lyon County Public Health reported 11 new cases, pushing the total count to 1,264 since late March. This followed 10 new cases reported both Tuesday and Monday as part of a weekend increase of 16.
Only three recovered patients were noted Wednesday, so the active caseload went from 74 Tuesday to 82 Wednesday.
The number of deaths remains steady at 40.
