Wintry weather is behind us, but wet weather isn’t.
Rain is a good bet for everybody in the KVOE listening area for Wednesday and Thursday. However, Greenwood County is in a flood watch from noon Wednesday to noon Thursday. One to three inches of rainfall is expected with locally higher amounts, meaning possible flooding of creeks, streams, rivers and lowland areas.
Rain totals diminish the further north you go. Expectations for Lyon County are up to an inch of rainfall, with the heaviest totals south of Emporia.
We’ll keep you updated on KVOE, KVOE.com and KVOE social media.
