Overall, the reaction to the Lyon County Treasurer’s Office using the QLess line-up system is going well — according to Treasurer Sharon Gaede.
Lyon County commissioners fielded a report from Gaede as part of their action session Thursday. QLess has been in place since June and serves as a virtual line so residents don’t have to wait around the Motor Vehicle Office. Residents can “que up” using one of four options: going online to the QLess kiosk, texting “Lyon County Motor Vehicle” to 620-254-9998, downloading the QLess app for any computer or device or by going online to www.lyoncounty.org and then clicking on the Treasurer’s page.
Separately, commissioners approved the regional hazard mitigation plan through the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
