Area counties announced increases in their coronavirus caseload Monday.
*Chase County added seven cases to go to 36 total. The seven new cases are the only active cases for the county. There is one coronavirus-confirmed death and one awaiting final cause from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
*Coffey County added 12 cases and now has 148 total. There are 11 active cases and nine deaths.
*Greenwood County added three cases and now has 75 overall. There are 13 active cases.
*Morris County had three new cases to move to 56 total. There are now eight active cases.
*Osage County added 14 cases and now has 145 total. The county also had its second death due to coronavirus. There are 20 active cases.
*Wabaunsee County lists an increase of five cases based on numbers from KDHE. There are three active cases and one death.
