High winds have caused scattered power outages Saturday.
As of 1:15 pm, Emporia was clear. However, nearly 60 Evergy customers in western Chase County lost power. Most outages with that incident have been restored, but it may be close to 3 pm before all customers are back to normal.
Small outages — with less than five Evergy customers each — are currently ongoing in Council Grove as well as near Eureka and Madison.
4 Rivers Electric is reporting isolated outages across its system. Flint Hills Rural Electric has not announced any outages.
