The Emporia State volleyball team continues to hold their fall practices as they take time to prepare for a possible spring season and next year.
The Lady Hornets return 7 players from last season and have 7 new comers. Coach Bing Xu says he likes what he has seen from the team.
Mikayla Simons is one of 2 seniors on the squad and says this falls practices have been beneficial.
The MIAA has said that it intends to hold a spring season for volleyball. Mikayla says they are looking forward to playing in the spring.
One key senior did not return Yuchen Du, who has returned to China during the pandemic.
