Change is in the works for Emporia State University students for the spring term.
Students will not have a spring break as the university works to limit the potential spread of coronavirus. The spring semester will start Jan. 25, five days later than originally planned. Residence halls will open on time Jan. 17, based on the revised schedule.
No classes will be held March 5 or April 16, which are also non-class days for USD 253 Emporia students. Finals will maintain their current schedule May 10-14 and the last class day is still May 7.
No schedule changes are expected for the rest of the current fall semester. The last day for face-to-face classes on campus is Nov. 20. Online-only classes will resume Nov. 30 before all-online finals Dec. 7-11.
