Lyon County’s overall and active COVID-19 case numbers both continue to rise as the work week comes to an end.
Public Health reported four new cases Friday bringing the overall total since March to 1,130. With two recovered patients the active case number has increased to 60.
The number of deaths also increased by one to 37 with four cases pending death certificate information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
For clusters:
Colleges and Universities remains the only active category in Lyon County with one active cluster, 63 total cases, four active cases and no deaths.
