An Emporia man was involved in a crash that hurt another person in Johnson County on Thursday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 23-year-old Tanner Willis of Emporia and 29-year-old Emily Crump of Gardner were in separate vehicles, with Crump’s SUV ahead of Willis’ car as both were traveling on Interstate 35 in Johnson County shortly before 7:30 am. Crump slowed because of traffic and Willis rear-ended her SUV.
Crump was taken to Olathe Medical Center for suspected minor injuries. Willis was not hurt. Both were wearing seatbelts.
