Emporia Highs cross country teams ran in the Winfield Invitational Thursday.
The boys finished in 5th place. They were led by Samuel Gillen who finished in 18th place Tanner McGuire finished 25th and Lane Wullschleger finished 27th.
The girls did not field a full team. Miranda Taylor finished in 12th place and Lily Heinen finished in 16th place.
The next meet will be October 10th at El Dorado.
