The annual blessing of the animals at St. Andrews Episcopal Church will be drive-through only this year.
Due to concerns about COVID-19, the blessing of the animals will take place in the church parking lot, with attendees remaining in their cars.
The event is this coming Sunday, October 4, and will take place from 5-6 p.m.
Mellisa Lowery with St. Andrews encourages all members of the community to bring their animals.
Attendants will be entered into a drawing to win a free pet portrait, painted by local artist Charlotte Nickel.
