The Coffey County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the Health Department to offer a combination drive-through flu shot clinic and prescription drug take-back event this month.
The combination approach will take place at four of the county’s fire stations:
*Leroy: Monday
*Gridley: Oct. 12
*Waverly: Oct. 19
*Lebo: Oct. 26
Residents bringing prescription drugs can submit expired, unwanted and unused medications. Deputies will collect controlled, non-controlled and over-the-counter meds as well as liquids and creams but sharps and syringes will not be allowed.
Combination events will be held from 5:30-6:30 pm.
