Lyon County added 16 new coronavirus cases this past weekend.
Lyon County Public Health says the current total is at 1,067. The number of active cases went up from 58 to 67, while the number of deaths climbed by two to 35. Hospitalizations remained at four through the weekend.
Public Health has not yet announced cluster information for the weekend.
For clusters:
*Colleges and Universities: 1 active cluster, 61 total cases, 7 active cases, 0 deaths
*Schools: 1 active cluster, 5 total cases, 1 active cases, 0 deaths
There was good news in that the long-term care cluster was deactivated. That cluster had logged 160 cases and 24 deaths.
