The Kansas State Wildcats upset number 3 ranked Oklahoma 38-35 Saturday.
The Wildcats trailed 35-14 late in the 3rd quarter before scoring 24 unanswered points.
Quarterback Skyler Thompson scored twice on runs of 2 and 4 yards. Deuce Vaughn scored on a 38 yard touchdown run. Blake Lynch kicked a 50 yard fieldgoal with over 4 minutes to play giving Kansas State their first lead of the day. Skyler Thompson also scored on a 1 yard run and threw a 39 yard touchdown pass. He finished with 344 yards of total offense.
Kansas State had 3 interceptions and a fumble recovery in the game.
The Wildcats are now 1-1 for the season, 1-0 in the Big-12. They will host Texas Tech next Saturday.
