The Emporia High boys soccer team, girls tennis and girls golf teams are scheduled to compete Thursday.
The Emporia High boys soccer team plays at Topeka High. The Spartans are 3-2-1 on the season and are coming off a loss to Washburn Rural. Coach Victor Ibarra said there were encouraging signs in that loss.
The Girls tennis team plays in the Spring Hill tournament.
The Girls golf team will play in the Towanda Circle Invitational. Freshman Ella Fessler will be one of the Lady Spartans playing. She says she is pleased with the progress she has made this season.
This is also a tune up for next Mondays Centennial league tournament.
