One potential trial date is ahead for three suspects in an alleged shooting earlier this year in Emporia.
Edgar Gonzalez, Hector Velazquez and William Walters made separate appearances in Lyon County District Court on Friday. Judge Lee Fowler set all three for trial Oct. 26 with additional trial settings possible, depending on how the cases move forward.
All three were charged shortly after an incident where a woman was allegedly shot at 1213 Beverly in June. The woman survived.
All three are currently charged with aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, attempted aggravated robbery, conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, aggravated battery and aggravated kidnapping.
