The Lebo Wolves picked up a dominating 52-6 win over the Chase County Bulldogs in area high school football action Friday.
The Wolves would open the scoring in the first quarter with a nine-yard touchdown pass from senior quarterback Devan McEwen to sophomore Luke Davies. The Wolves would go on to score an unanswered 16 points before Chase County would put their first points on the board thanks to a four-yard touchdown run by freshman Brock Griffin.
Lebo would answer immediately with two quick scores taking a 38-6 lead into halftime. In the second-half Lebo would tack on 14 more to close out the game midway through the third quarter.
Junior Kyle Reese would lead the Wolves on the ground with 73 yards rushing and four touchdowns on the night including a 60-yard kickoff return. Reese says this is the start to the season they spent all offseason working towards.

Chase County was led offensively by sophomore quarterback Mitchell Budke with 66 yards. McEwen had 73 yards rushing with 106 yards passing for Lebo.
With the win Lebo now improves to 2-0 on the season. Chase County drops to 1-1.
The Madison Bulldogs rolled to a 56-0 win over the Hartford Jaguars in the featured game on MIX 104.9.
Madison jumped out to a 20-0 lead after the 1st quarter and ended the game at halftime.
Hunter Engle scored 4 touchdowns on the night on runs of 49, 20 and 20 yards and returned a fumble for a touchdown.
Casey Helm threw a 20 yard touchdown pass to Drew Stutesman.
Brome Rayburn scored twice on a 30 and 28 yard run.
Madison improves to 2-0 and Hartford is now 1-1.
