An Americus man was involved in a crash that led to minor injuries for a Gardner woman Thursday morning.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the wreck happened around 10:15 am on Interstate 35 near the US Highway 56 bridge in Gardner. Troopers say 64-year-old Trudi Zeckser was taking the ramp from US-56 to Interstate 35 northbound but lost control of her car. She went to the inside lane of the Interstate, hit the trailer of a semi driven by 64-year-old Richard Wilson of Americus, and then went off the highway before hitting a bridge pillar.
Zeckser was taken to Overland Park Regional for suspected minor injuries. Wilson was not hurt. Both were wearing seatbelts.
