A Lebo man was hospitalized Tuesday after going off Interstate 35 into a creekbed near Ottawa.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the wreck happened on Interstate 35 near Ottawa around 1:20 pm. James Baugh, 65, was driving a pickup and towing a trailer when the truck drifted off the highway and hit both a guardrail and a bridge. The truck and trailer then went airborne and rolled into a creek below the bridge.
Baugh was taken to Advent Health-Ottawa with suspected minor injuries. He was wearing his seatbelt and was the only person in the truck.
