Sentencing is coming Tuesday for two people accused of sexual misconduct in two separate cases in Lyon County District Court.
German Diaz, 20, will face sentencing at 9 am. In July, Diaz pleaded to a count of aggravated kidnapping against a 13-year-old. Diaz had been originally charged with rape following an incident in January. He could get 12-14 years in prison.
At 10 am, Derek Stefan will be sentenced. Stefan, 42, pleaded no contest to two counts of aggravated indecent solicitation of a child and one count of sexual exploitation of a child back in July after alleged involvement with five victims ranging in age from 10 to 16. He was facing counts of promoting obscenity, sexual exploitation, electronic solicitation and violating the Kansas Offender Registration Act before his plea. Stefan could receive close to 10 years in prison.
Judge Lee Fowler will preside over both hearings.
