The Emporia High volleyball team is now 3-0 to start the season after sweeping Junction City and Topeka West Thursday.
They defeated Junction City 25-8, 25-16. Abbie Demler led the offense with 7 kills. Grace Xu had 16 assists and Maddyn Stewart finished with 6 digs.
The Lady Spartans defeated Topeka West 25-16, 25-20. Emily Chrstensen finished with 9 kills, Rebecca Snyder had 7 kills.
Grace Xu had 24 assists and Maddyn Stewart had 13 digs.
The Lady Spartans are next scheduled to play at Topeka Hayden, facing Hayden and Topeka High, Tuesday.
