Cleveland clobbered the Kansas City Royals 10-1 Tuesday night.
Cleveland scored 3 runs in the first inning and never looked back while hitting 4 home runs.
Matt Harvey lasted only an inning and a 3rd giving up 5 runs on 6 hits, 3 of them home runs. Pitcher Carlos Hernandez made his Royals debut, he pitched 3 and 2 thirds innings giving up no runs on 2 hits.
Hunter Dozier hit a home run in the 6th inning for the Royals only run.
The Royals and Cleveland play again Wednesday night. Jakob Junis gets the start for the Royals with first pitch at 7:05p. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
The Royals have also announced that they have canceled Fan Fest that was scheduled for January 29th and 30th, 2021.
Fanfest is scheduled to return in 2022.
