Due to coronavirus trends, Morris County Hospital is now telling all entering patients to wear masks and it’s re-enacting a no-visitor policy.
The restrictions were announced Friday. The no-visitor policy has a few exceptions, including accommodations for births and end-of-life situations. It also allows escorts of patients to areas like the lab or X-ray for outpatient testing, but only when “absolutely necessary.”
Morris County Hospital says these moves are designed to protect patients, both current and incoming, from possible exposure. It also says non-patients with compromised immune systems, pulmonary complications or other serious health complications should stay home until further notice.
