The Kansas City Royals held on for a 9-6 win over the Chicago White Sox Saturday.
The Royals hit 4 home runs in building a 9-3 lead going to the 9th inning.
Alex Gordon hit a solo home run in the 2nd inning and finished the day with 3 hits.
Ryan O’Hearn hit a solo home run in the 6th inning.
In the 7th inning Ryan McBroom hit a solo home run and Maikel Franco hit a 3 run home run.
Hunter Dozier and Jorge Soler drove in runs with doubles in the 8th inning.
Jake Newberry was the winning pitcher in relief.

The Royals made another trade Saturday. They sent pitcher Trevor Rosenthal to San Diego for outfield prospect Edward Olivares and a player to be named.
