Granada Theatre crowns inaugural Got Talent competition champion Saturday

The Granada Theatre was on the search for talent and there was plenty to go around Saturday evening.

The inaugural Granada’s Got Talent competition saw 12 incredible acts take the stage. From singers to dancers and even comedians all in attendance and those watching at home were entertained from start to finish.

While 12 performed only one was left standing as singer Jaime Izaguirre took home the title and the grand prize of $500. Izaguirre took a classic Frank Sinatra song and did it his way.

Granada Theatre Director Rebecca Hererra says the evening exceeded her expectations.

Herrera is hoping to make Granada’s Got Talent a regular competition in the future. Plans for future installments of the competition are currently in the works and Herrera says she is excited to see where it goes from here.
