The Chicago White Sox walked off with a 6-5 win over the Kansas City Royals Friday night.
Yasmani Grandal hit a leadoff, walk-off homer off of Ian Kennedy to hand the Royals a second straight walk-off loss.
The Royals took a 2-1 lead in the 3rd, Whit Merrifield hit a solo homerun and Ryan O’Hearn scored on a Hunter Dozier single.
Jorge Soler hit a 2 run homerun in the 8th inning to tie the game at 4 in the 7th inning.
Bubba Starling scored in the top of the 9th to tie the game at 5.
The Royals and White Sox play again Saturday afternoon. Brady Singer makes the start for the Royals with first pitch set for 1:10. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM beginning at 12:30p.
