One person has been arrested and two others are being sought after a chase in and near Emporia early Monday.
Lyon County Deputy Brandon Early says the pursuit started shortly before 1 am in the 1600 block of Road P. Deputies started a pursuit involving a black BMW 3 Series car and continued into the city limits. Early says the chase ended at a currently undisclosed location with the arrest of 20-year-old Guadalupe Murillo of Emporia.
Two others in the car fled on foot and were not captured. Suspect descriptions have not been announced.
Murillo was booked into the Lyon County Jail on suspicion of felony flee and elude, marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession and driving without a valid license. Formal charges are pending.
