One person has been taken to Newman Regional Health after a crash outside an Emporia business.
The wreck at the Bluestem Farm and Ranch parking lot north entrance, 2611 West Highway 50, happened shortly before 2 pm Saturday and involved an SUV and a motorcycle. Emporia Police Lt. Rob Turner says the SUV driver pulled out of the parking lot with the intent of going west on US Highway 50 but did not see the eastbound motorcycle.
The motorcycle driver, a man, was taken to Newman Regional Health for observation and possible treatment. Nobody else was hurt.
