The Emporia High boys soccer team has a lot of questions to answer after graduating 11 seniors and 8 starters from last years team. This years team features 4 seniors and 3 starters.
Emporia High Coach Victor Ibarra says he has been impressed by this group of players.
Coach Ibarra will be relying on returning senior Hector Hernandez who has been a starter since he was a freshman to provide leadership.
Hector says he is looking forward to his senior season.
The Spartans are scheduled to kick-off their season August 28th when they host St. Marys Academy.
They already have had changes to their schedule. The Titan Classic, hosted by Wichita South, has been canceled.
The Wichita City League has opted to play league teams only in all sports.
