Lyon County Public Health is urging residents to step up their efforts against coronavirus so additional restrictions don’t return later this year.
On KVOE’s Newsmaker segment Tuesday, Emergency Preparedness Director Jennifer Millbern said health officials are closely watching trends, including new and active caseloads, to see if more restrictions are needed.
Millbern says people “need to take ownership” and take personal responsibility for slowing down that spread.
Lyon County had 28 new cases over the weekend. With no recoveries reported, the active caseload is at 90. It is the highest the county has seen since we had 97 active cases May 11.
