One of the secrets to the success for Emporia State womens basketball has been the fan support. For the 23rd consecutive year the Lady Hornets are ranked in the top 6 in average attendance in the nation. They are ranked 6th.
This past season the Emporia State women went undefeated at home and averaged 1442 fans per-game.
Lady Hornet Coach Toby Wynn says fan support is a big part of their success.
Emporia State was 2nd in average attendance in the MIAA finishing behind Fort Hays State.
The Lady Hornets outdrew 243 NCAA Division I schools, including six from the “Power 5” conferences – three from the ACC, two from the Pac 12, and one from the SEC.
