Flint Hills Technical College is welcoming students to campus Monday as the fall semester begins.
Coronavirus is very much on the mind of educators these days, and President Dean Hollenbeck says all precautions will be taken for student and staff safety, including temperature checks, mobile check-in and social distancing in classrooms and commons areas. Education will have different delivery methods, depending on the subject matter.
Unlike Emporia State, which plans to end in-class education after the Thanksgiving break, Flint Hills Technical College plans to use the current model throughout the semester.
Enrollment is down slightly, but Hollenbeck says several programs still need to take enrollment at this time.
