Several grant opportunities are now in front of businesses and nonprofits as part of a second round of CARES Act funding, and Emporia Main Street Director Casey Woods is urging business owners and nonprofit administrators to have their submissions ready when the application window opens at noon Wednesday.
Grant funding is available in eight different categories through the Kansas Department of Commerce, and funding for broadband projects is available through two other grant programs. Businesses and nonprofits can apply for grants in more than one category.
