Budgets, allocations and recent studies will highlight conversations during the Emporia City Commission’s regular study session Wednesday.
Commissioners will hold their final discussions on the 2021 budget and the city’s five-year plan before shifting focus to SPARK allocations from Lyon County. The city will be receiving $500,000 in SPARK funding from the county including reimbursements from March-July 31st for COVID-19 expenses.
Commissioners will also review the final draft of the city’s housing study and discuss future agenda preparation.
The meeting begins at 10 am inside the Municipal Courtroom at White Auditorium.
