For the 18th straight season Emporia State mens basketball has finished in the top 20 in average attendance in the nation.
The Hornets averaged 1355 fans in 16 home games last season which was 18th in the nation and 7th in the MIAA.
Emporia State head Coach Craig Doty appreciates the support.
Coach Doty says the support does make a difference.
Emporia State did out draw 109 Division 1 schools.
The MIAA lead all Division II conferences averaging 1286 fans and was the only DII conference to average over 1000 fans per-game.
