The NCAAs Board of Governors meets again Tuesday and could make a decision about the fall sports championships. That includes football for Divisions II and III and FCS.
The decision could also include the fall sports of volleyball, soccer and cross country at Emporia State.
The NCAA can postpone or cancel the fall sports championships but that would not keep conferences or schools from competing during the regular season. The decision about the regular season would come from the conferences or individual schools.
At least 6 Division II conferences, that have 58 schools involved, have altered their fall sports schedules.
22 Division III conferences have altered their fall schedules.
At least 4 FCS conferences have canceled football.
The NAIA and the NJCAA have moved the football championships to the spring.
