4 Rivers Electric Cooperative has closed its BETO Junction office due to coronavirus.
The utility says an employee tested positive for the virus this past weekend, so it has closed the office to visitors until at least Aug. 14 “out fo an abundance of caution.” The Fredonia office remains open at this time.
4 Rivers says it has adopted an employee mask usage policy and social distancing techniques to protect both employees and cooperative members. It has been urging customers to wear masks, practice social distancing and use “non-contact” forms of payment for weeks.
