Lyon County Public Health announce two new deaths Monday, a White male in his 90s as confirmed Friday and a White male in his 80s as confirmed Sunday. Lyon County now has 13 deaths due to coronavirus. Five have happened over the last week.
LCPH is reporting 32 new COVID-19 cases in Mondays update. 21 cases were detected Saturday. There are 8 new recoveries. The number of active cases is now at 86. 55 of the active cases are connected to long term care clusters.
The total number of cases increased to 676. There are 576 recoveries.
There are 11 Lyon County patients hospitalized.
Chase County Health department is reporting 29 new cases at the Chase County detention center. That includes 27 detainees and 2 staff members.
Coffey County is reporting 2 recoveries and 2 new cases and has 5 active cases.
Osage County is reporting 2 recoveries. They have 4 active cases with 1 hospitalized.
Greenwood County is reporting 5 active cases.
Wabaunsee County is reporting 1 new case and 2 active cases.
Morris County is reporting 2 active cases.
1,064 new cases and 7 deaths are being reported by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment since Friday.
The number of confirmed positive and probable positive cases in Kansas is now at 28,876. The number of deaths is at 365.
During the month of July 13,090 cases were diagnosed in Kansas.
There were 93 deaths reported since July 1st.
