20 new COVID-19 cases are being reported by Lyon County Public Health in Mondays update. That increases the total count of confirmed positive and probable positive cases to 620. There are 5 new recoveries for 531. The number of active cases is now at 80.
28 of the cases are associated with long term care facilities clusters. 9 cases are associtated with private industry cluster. 43 of the cases are not connected to a cluster.
Since last Monday there have been 50 new cases reported in Lyon County. Two Lyon county residents are hospitalized.
Two of the new cases were linked to a cluster which originated at a youth sports activity. According to Public Health Emergency Preparedness Director Jennifer Milbern one youth transmitted the disease to a teammate.
All other individuals in attendance or participating in the activity are currently in quarantine according to Millbern. Testing will only be conducted on symptomatic patients.
Osage County Monday reporting no active cases. All 32 cases have recovered.

Greenwood County is reporting 5 active cases.
Coffey County is reporting 4 active cases.
Chase, Morris and Wabaunsee counties are reporting 1 active case.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment is reporting 1063 new COVID-19 cases and 9 new deaths since Friday in Mondays update.
The number of confirmed positive and probable positive cases in Kansas is now at 26,172. The number of deaths is now at 335.
There were 48 new hospitalizations statewide. 1644 patients have been hospitalized for coronavirus.
