Travelers in Chase County will notice work underway to replace the Kansas Highway 177 bridge over US-50 west of Strong City as soon as this week.
Local northbound traffic can use K-177 from Old Highway 50 to the bridge offramp. Speeds will be reduced to 45 mph.
The Chase County Sheriff’s Office says drivers will be detoured by using Strong City’s Cottonwood Street.
