Numerous area communities and counties have been selected for the second round of Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus Supplement funding as announced by the state.
Grant recipients include:
*Burlington: $132,000
*Council Grove: $132,000
*Greenwood County: $167,000
*Lyndon: $167,000
*Madison: 66,000
*Osage City: $173,600
Grants help with economic development and meal programs. The city of Emporia received $167,000 through this program several weeks ago.
