The Emporia State volleyball team is once again being recognized for the work done in the classroom.
For the 9th consecutive year and for the 14th time in the last 16 years the Lady Hornet volleyball team has earned the USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award from the American Volleyball Coaches Association. The award recognizes teams that had a 3.30 gpa. The Emporia State volleyball team had a 3.51 gpa and 11 players had a 3.25 gpa or better.
