Goal has been met and surpassed, but the 16 SOS Strong Ambassadors this year aren’t letting up with the annual celebration coming this week.
The ambassadors passed the $20,000 goal last week, and several had events this past weekend to keep the momentum going. KVOE News reporter Tagan Trahoon had a “Beard Shave at the Bourbon” on Saturday night, raising over $400 for his campaign. He’s grateful for the chance to be involved and helping people victimized by abuse and neglect.
The same can be said for Anton Sandoval, who had a “Going the Distance” marathon well before sunrise Sunday.
Interim Police Chief Ed Owens will have a 50-50 raffle at Harry and Lloyd’s at 6 pm Tuesday.
