Isolated storm activity affected residents south of Emporia, but two severe thunderstorm warnings issued after sunset led to no actual severe weather.
North Greenwood County was in back-to-back severe thunderstorm warnings essentially from 8:45 -10:30 pm after a nearly-stationary cluster developed near Madison and eventually drifted to the northwest. No reports of severe weather were relayed to the National Weather Service.
Other issues developed during the storm activity, including a power outage for parts of Coffey County. Evergy is reporting over 800 customers offline in Burlington, Gridley, LeRoy and rural areas between those communities after unspecified storm damage south of Burlington.

8:50 pm Sunday: Severe thunderstorm warning issued for Greenwood County
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for one county in the KVOE listening area.
Northeast Greenwood County, which includes the city of Madison, is in a warning until 9:45 pm. The major hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-sized hail.
