It appears our most recent heat wave has ended.
Air temperatures got as high as 97 Saturday with a heat index reading of 107. Friday’s high was 96 with a heat index of 107 as well.
Sunday will still be a hot day with highs in the low 90s and heat index readings approaching 100. Showers and storms, some with heavy rainfall, are possible for most of the day into the evening. We’ll keep you updated on KVOE, KVOE.com and KVOE social media.
