The Emporia Recreation Commission is set to have its annual trio of budget-related meetings to set the financial table for the upcoming fiscal year.
Monday’s slate of meetings will begin with the annual “closing of the books” to wrap up all business and financial transactions for fiscal 2019-2020. That meeting will be followed immediately by the fiscal 2020-2021 budget review and interpretation meeting — which will then be followed by the regular monthly meeting, where the budget could be approved.
The first meeting starts at 5:30 pm Monday at the Lee Beran Recreation Center.
