Sentencing is coming Thursday for a teenager accused of shooting into at least one of four Emporia dwellings last December.
Adam Cole Burnett, 18, pleaded no contest to a single count of residential burglary just over a month ago. He had been originally charged with burglary of a dwelling with intent to steal a firearm and reckless criminal discharge of a firearm as well as a more recent count of felony criminal damage.
Charges were filed in mid-December after shots were fired into four dwellings — 531 East Logan, 1101 Congress apartments 1 and 2 and 202 South Neosho. Nobody was hurt.
The hearing is at 9 am.
