The Kansas Shrine Bowl is holding their training camps in Topeka leading up to Saturdays All-Star game.
Both the East and West squad are staying at the Ramada Inn in Topeka. The East squad is practicing at Washburn Rural High School. The West Squad is practicing at Shawnee Heights High School.
Emporia Highs Riley Wagner is on the east squad. Before he left for training camp he said he was a little worried there would be no game.
Wagner said he did get some advice about the shrine bowl from his high school coach, Corby Milleson, who has been a coach for shrine bowl.
Olpes Colby Hoelting and Northern Heights Tee Preisner are also on the East squad roster.
The Shrine Bowl game will be played Saturday evening at Topekas Hummer Sports Park.
Only 2000 people will be allowed to attend the game. That includes players, coaches and support staff. That will allow 1500 to 1600 fans to attend.
