The Kansas City Royals announced Monday they will play 3 exhibition games before they open the season.
The Royals will host the Houston Astros Monday, July 20 for a 7pm game. They will also host the Astros again on Tuesday, July 21 for a 1pm game. The club will then travel across the state to play the St. Louis Cardinals on Wednesday, July 22 for a 1pm game.
Manager Mike Matheney says the players are looking forward to playing someone different.
After the game at St. Louis the Royals will head to Cleveland to open the season on July 24th.
