The North Central Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging is offering a series of virtual seminars to assist local senior citizens with Medicare enrollment.
The series titled “answers for older Kansans: Medicare basics seminars” will begin Wednesday and run through Aug. 20. The two-part Zoom seminars will provide an easy to understand overview of the Medicare process and include a series of steps to follow while enrolling for Medicare.
To register for the seminars, residents should go to www.ncfhaaa.com/seminars or call 800-432-2703 the day before the seminar. A Zoom event link will then be sent to each participant prior to the seminar.
Participants are encouraged to take part in both parts of the seminar as they will help provide a “total Medicare picture” according to Area Agency Director Julie Govert-Walter.
